I promised to post on makeup this week and was reminded of a winter wonderland themed party I attended, with lots of sparkle and white. I love the ethereal quality white makeup gives that is entirely appropriate at this time of year, here are some ways you can wear it.
White eyeshadow, especially with a sparkle, really highlights the eye and contrasts with lashes while still keeping a minimalist look. I use a loose eyeshadow by Napolean that has a slight gold tint similar to the one shown here.
Perfect for a winter wonderland look: white mascara and white lips dipped in sugar crystals.
When you aren't dressing to a theme, a minimal gloss is perfect with sparkling outfits that have lots of embellishment. The look is still polished, without completing with your outfit.
I love white nails and you can add a glittering coat on top for a more festive look.
