White-styled looks at the Golden Globes

Angelina looked stunning in this Atelier Versace white gown with crimson feature and lips and was by far my favourite. Here are some other fabulous white-styled looks from the red carpet for the Golden Globes 2012.

The Marchesa dress worn by Georgina Chapman was surprisingly gorgeous, the intricate gold collar and cuffs really set it off.

 Elle Macpherson looked amazing in Zac Posen. I don't think anyone else could wear such a spectacular gown without an updo.

Minimal accessories make this look in Dior Couture fantastic. I love how Charlize Theron has her hair worn to one side.

The perfect accessories and hair for this style of dress: large cuffs, large long earring and an updo.

Kate Beckinsale in Cavalli.

Nicole's studded Versace gown and immaculate skin looked perfect.

Jessica Chastain's Givenchy dress was covered in beads and I loved the gold band at the waist.

There were so may spectacular outfits this year!

Back to work

This weekend was a lot of shopping, for a birthday, for new makeup and just because of all the sales on, as well as some relaxing and a movie and evening near Sydney Harbour.

Workwear sparkles

I hope your new year resolutions included an aim to sparkle, and here are some outfits to ensure you will do so even in the workplace. I am assuming we all have glittery shoes by now (I added sparked to a pair of heels over the Christmas break following a great online tutorial), now add sequins to the mix.

+ Keep the other pieces classic and simple. 

+ Consider light coloured sequins if you are unsure about wearing sequins to work

+ You may simply want to add sparkle by carrying a clutch

+ If you are wearing more elaborate outfit, keep it simple with white tones

A Sydney summer

 

 Early morning on a boat when the water is still and the day not yet hot.

Everyday revolves around water. A cool indoor pool is perfect for during the midday heat.

The beach whenever you can, for relaxing, swimming, walking and late afternoon fish and chips.
